Ghassan is a Brooklyn based Yemeni-American Artist. His work is an ongoing examination of Arab diaspora identity, rooted in lived experience and personal transformation. Working across textiles, photography, and digital art, his practice uses making as a way to understand the self as fluid, shaped by memory, cultural inheritance, and change over time.

Central to his work is the reexamination of familiar motifs, materials, and visual languages, which he approaches through a contemporary and personal lens. By reworking and recontextualizing these elements, he explores how inherited forms can shift in meaning when filtered through diasporic experience and individual becoming.

Rather than presenting identity as fixed or resolved, his work documents moments of questioning, transition, and reinterpretation. Each piece reflects a specific stage in an evolving process, treating art as a record of self-study rather than a final statement. His practice prioritizes process over certainty, allowing complexity, ambiguity, and growth to remain visible.
